Pacific City House

Designing for the Oregon Coast requires a deep respect for the elements. This new residential construction in Pacific City was engineered to withstand the harsh coastal wind and rain while embracing the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. The architecture balances rugged durability with a refined modern aesthetic.
The site orientation was carefully planned to maximize views of the Pacific Ocean and Nestucca River while creating sheltered outdoor zones protected from prevailing winds. Large glazing systems invite natural light deep into the home, blurring the line between the rugged landscape and the warm, inviting interior.
Material selection was critical for this project. We utilized corrosion-resistant exterior finishes and low-maintenance siding capable of weathering the salt air, ensuring the home remains beautiful and structurally sound for generations of beachside living.
